We're a small Central Virginia gutter company that has been doing this work the right way since 2014. No franchise pressure, no commission-driven sales, no products we wouldn't put on our own homes.
Who runs RCS
Scott runs the company. He started RCS in 2014 as a one-person crew with a single truck. The crew has grown, and Scott remains directly involved in estimates, project standards, and the work the team delivers.
We're based in Barboursville, in the small village that gives us our shop address. Most of us live within a thirty-minute drive of the shop. When we tell you we're "local," we mean we run into our customers at the gas station, at the school carpool line, and at the coffee shop downtown. That accountability is the whole reason a small gutter company can compete with the national franchises that throw bigger ad budgets at the market.
What we do, and what we don't
We install seamless gutters. We clean gutters. We install Leaf Solution gutter guard products. We do fascia and soffit work because many gutter jobs need it. We design and install the drainage that takes water away from your foundation. We do half-round and copper restoration on historic homes. We do commercial work on retail, agricultural, and church properties.
We don't do roofs or siding. Our written estimate defines the gutter work RCS is responsible for, the products included, and the project-specific workmanship terms. We do not use verbal "today only" pricing; the written estimate controls the price and scope.

Your written quote identifies the gutter profile, material, and finish selected for the roofline and scope.
A fastening plan matched to the roofline.
Hanger type and spacing are specified around the structure, material, access, and expected loads.
Honest gutter guard recommendations.
We carry Leaf Solution products. We recommend the right one for your tree mix. Not the most expensive one in the catalog.
Real drainage planning.
If the splash block isn't enough, we'll tell you why and what to do instead. Foundation moisture is a real cost; we don't ignore it.
Documented work.
When photo documentation is included, the written scope identifies what will be photographed and how it will be delivered.
