What we stand behind.

Two warranties cover most of what we install: our own workmanship warranty on labor and installation, and the Leaf Solution manufacturer warranties on guard products. Here's what each one covers in plain language.

RCS Workmanship Warranty

5 years on labor and installation

We stand behind the way we install your gutters. If a hanger we placed fails, a seam we sealed leaks, or a downspout we connected pulls loose due to our work, we come back and fix it at no charge.

Covers: hanger pull, sealant failure at corners and end caps, downspout connections, miter cut quality, fascia installation if we did the fascia work.

Doesn't cover: damage from impact (fallen branches, ladder strikes), damage from third-party work, ice and snow load events that exceed manufacturer specs, normal weathering, or work modified by someone else after our install.

Leaf Solution Product Warranty

20 to 25 years on the gutter guard products

Leaf Solution backs each of their gutter guard product lines with a transferable manufacturer warranty: 25 years on Xtreme and Evelyn's Leaf Solution stainless mesh products, 20 years on New Wave punched aluminum.

Covers: defects in materials and manufacturing. Corrosion of stainless mesh, structural failure of the aluminum frame, etc.

Doesn't cover: damage from acts of God beyond reasonable spec (extreme hail, falling trees), debris accumulation (you still need occasional top-rinses), or alterations to the installed product.

Aluminum gutter material warranty

20-year prorated finish warranty (industry standard)

The aluminum coil stock we use carries an industry-standard 20-year prorated finish warranty against fade, chalk, and adhesion failure. This is a manufacturer warranty separate from our workmanship and the guard product warranties.

If something goes wrong

  1. Call us first. (434) 202-5666. We'd rather know about a problem and address it than have you wonder for months.
  2. We come out and look. If it's something we did, we fix it. If it's a manufacturer defect, we coordinate the warranty claim with Leaf Solution on your behalf.
  3. If it's third-party damage (storm, fallen tree, someone else's work), we'll still come give you an estimate to repair, but it's outside the warranty scope.

We don't dodge warranty calls. A small gutter contractor that doesn't honor warranty work doesn't survive in a small market. Our reputation depends on it.
