These terms apply to anyone who visits https://www.rcsgutters.com, fills out our forms, signs up for our newsletter, or otherwise uses this website (we'll just call you "you" below). The website is operated by Right Choice Seamless Gutters ("we," "us," "our") at 249 Greenwood Farms Ct, Barboursville, VA 22923.
If you don't agree with these terms, don't use the website. That's the deal.
What this website is, and what it isn't
This website exists to help homeowners and property managers in Central Virginia learn about our gutter services, request a free estimate, and reach us by phone or form. It is informational and contact-oriented.
It is not:
- A binding offer to do work at any specific price.
- A guarantee of availability on any specific date.
- A substitute for an on-site walk-through and a written estimate.
- An e-commerce store. We don't take payments through this site.
- Professional advice for your specific home. The pricing ranges, content, and recommendations on this site are general information based on our experience across hundreds of jobs. Your home is yours; the right answer for your specific situation requires a real walk-through.
Quote requests, written estimates, and the actual job
When you submit our quote form or call us, you're asking us to come look at your property and give you a written estimate. That's the request. We respond within one business day, schedule a free on-site walk-through, and either give you a written estimate on the spot or within 24 hours of the visit.
The written estimate we hand you (or email you) after the walk-through is the document that governs the work. Anything on this website — pricing ranges, service descriptions, FAQs — is general background. The written estimate spells out the specific scope, materials, line-item pricing, and any conditions for your specific job.
Quotes typically hold for thirty days from the date we issue them. If material costs move significantly between quote and install (it happens), we'll re-quote rather than absorb the variance silently.
Until you sign a written estimate or otherwise authorize work in writing, no work is being scheduled and no contract exists between us. Submitting the quote form does not commit you to anything.
Pricing on this site
We publish honest pricing ranges on our service pages because we think hiding pricing is a low-trust move. Those ranges are based on typical full-home installs across our service area. Your specific job may price above or below the range depending on linear footage, downspout count, fascia condition, color, drainage scope, accessibility, and any add-ons we recommend.
Pricing ranges on the site are not guaranteed and not binding until a written estimate is issued. If we quote you a number after the walk-through, that number is the number — we don't pull bait-and-switch upcharges.
Reviews, ratings, and trust signals
The 4.7-star average and 217-review count we display are pulled live from our HomeAdvisor profile. The link goes directly to that profile so you can verify both numbers and read every individual review. We don't curate, edit, or hide reviews.
We do not display individual customer testimonials or quotes on this site without each customer's explicit permission, on file. If you ever see a customer quote on this site, that customer agreed in writing to publish it under their real name and city.
Photos and content on this site
Photos on this site fall into three buckets:
- Real RCS work. Photos of installs, cleanings, and properties we've actually worked on. Some are from current jobs (with customer permission to publish); some are from earlier jobs where the previous business name was different but the work was the same crew.
- Manufacturer dealer assets. Product photos and diagrams from Leaf Solution, our authorized gutter-guard manufacturer. These show actual products we install. Used with the same dealer-permission rules every authorized dealer follows.
- Designed graphics. A small number of intentionally designed brand-color blocks where we have no real photo for that slot. These are clearly designed elements (not photos), not faked job documentation.
We do not publish AI-generated photos posing as real jobs. Ever.
Acceptable use of the website
Don't do bad things with our website. Specifically:
- Don't try to break, attack, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the site or its forms.
- Don't submit fake leads, spam, or harassing content through our forms.
- Don't impersonate someone else when filling out forms or contacting us.
- Don't copy our written content (location pages, blog posts, FAQ answers) onto another contractor's website. The original first-person content here is ours, not a template.
- Don't use our brand name, logo, or photos in any way that suggests we endorse a product, person, or business we don't actually endorse.
We may block, rate-limit, or restrict access for any visitor we reasonably believe is doing any of the above.
Third-party links and tools
We link out to third-party sites (HomeAdvisor for reviews, Leaf Solution for product information, OpenStreetMap for the embedded service-area map, social-media platforms in the footer). We're not responsible for what those sites publish or how they operate. Their terms apply when you visit them.
Our forms send data to third-party processors (HighLevel for CRM, Web3Forms as backup, Google for analytics and ads). The Privacy Policy at /privacy/ describes who they are and what they do with the data.
Intellectual property
The original written content, page layouts, photo selection, design system, and code on this site are our intellectual property (with the exception of: open-source software we use and credit, manufacturer dealer assets used under license, and embedded third-party content that remains the property of those third parties).
You're welcome to share links to our pages on social media, in emails, and in conversations. You're welcome to quote short excerpts in your own writing with credit and a link back. Republishing whole pages or substantial portions on another site requires our written permission.
Disclaimers
We try to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date. We're a small Virginia contractor, not a big-budget marketing operation, and occasionally a price range, service area, or detail will go out of date. If something on the site disagrees with what we tell you on the phone or in a written estimate, the phone call and the written estimate are the source of truth.
The website is provided "as is" and we don't make warranties about uptime, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other warranty beyond what's required by Virginia law.
Limitation of liability
We're not liable to you for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website (or your inability to use it) — meaning things like lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities. Our maximum liability for anything related to this website is capped at $100 or whatever we're required by law to provide, whichever is greater.
This limitation does not apply to our actual installation work — that work is governed by the warranty terms in your written estimate and applicable Virginia consumer-protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this website is to be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Albemarle County or the Western District of Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will change accordingly. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
